Using the catalog

Part searches are sent to the site server to retrieve results. Fit checks within a part page run in your browser. This version has no account system or newsletter. We use Pageview (app.pageview.app) to measure website usage. Page URLs and technical browser information are sent to that provider; its processing is separate from the contact form. Local previews do not load this analytics script. Contact drafts stay in your browser until you choose to submit them or open your email app. Kenmore serial decoding runs locally: the serial is not sent to our server, stored by the application or placed in the URL. Following a parts-search link sends only the model and catalog filters.

Hosting providers may process technical request information to deliver and protect the site. We do not maintain an application database of your searches, fit checks or IP addresses in this version.

Contact requests

When online submission is enabled, we collect your email, question, optional part and model, and the page or field you report. We use these details to reply and assess corrections. They are stored in Cloudflare D1 for 90 days, with daily cleanup, and sent through Cloudflare Email Service to our support inbox. Inbox correspondence may be kept while an issue is being resolved. We do not subscribe you to marketing or stock alerts.

A temporary request limit helps prevent abuse; we do not store IP addresses in the contact database. Your email is used only for this support request. Contact hello@fitcertain.com to request access or deletion. If online submission is unavailable, copying a draft sends nothing; opening an email draft uses your chosen email provider.

Following a retailer link leaves FitCertain. Retailers and their payment or affiliate providers have their own privacy and cookie practices. Review their policies before sharing personal or payment information.

Future features

If email alerts or accounts are introduced, this page will identify the data collected, purpose, retention and contact method before those features are enabled. Email alerts will require confirmation before subscription.
