- Unplug the dryer (and shut off gas on gas models).
- Remove the top and front panel to reach the belt and idler (one customer found access from the back easier on their model).
- Slip the belt off the motor pulley and idler.
- Swap the pulley on the idler arm and secure it.
- Re-route the belt around the drum, idler and motor pulley, then reassemble and test.
Disconnect power before opening the cabinet.
Gas dryers: close the gas valve; do not disturb gas connections.
